Missing Friends

Information is requested as to the whereabouts of one James Daniel O'Connor (sometimes takes the name of Dan Scanlon), described as a painted or hairdresser, 58 years of age, 5ft. 5in. high, native of county Cork, Ireland, dark complexion, grey hair (very straight part in centre), grey moustache, grey eyes, ordinary nose, addicted to drink, wore dark coat, khaki trousers, khaki vest with red spots on it, white soft shirt, white canvas shoes, and grey tweed cap or grey felt hat. He left his home at Loxton at about 9 p.m. on the 20th ultimo, did not say where he intended going. His wife and four young children have been left without means of support. Inquiry is on behalf of his wife, Maria Eliza O'Connor, residing at Loxton as above. - (C.872.)
