Its sources include a large number of rolls such as Patent Rolls, Close Rolls, Subsidy Rolls etc. various Inquisitions Post Mortem, Inquisitions Ad Quod Damnum, Ancient Charters, etc. Included a large number of pedigrees (over 150). Though some doubt may be raised over the authenticity of at least some of the pedigrees this does not detract from the usefulness of this undertaking. Also includes both place and name indexes.
