Special Inquiry

ADELAIDE-Special inquiry is requested with a view to locating and arresting ROY HENRY PERRY and CLAUDE PEARSON, who are suspected of receiving stolen goods in the cases of shopbreaking and larceny on Thomas Keith Shutter, vide Police Gazette, 1929, page 88, and Harold Jack Weeks, vide Police Gazette, 1929, page 107. Perry is a barman, 28 to 30 years of age, 5ft. 7in. or 5ft. 8in. high, stout build, fair complexion, fair hair (parted in centre), piercing eyes; Pearson is a jockey, 30 years of age, 5ft. 5in. high, slight build, square shoulders, dark-brown hair; they left West's training stables, Glenelg, at 5 a.m. on the 25th instant, in a Buick motor car, registered No. 97321, five-seater, painted cream, when they are said to have had a quantity of the stolen property in their possession, consisting of suiting materials, cigarettes, &c.; they also have a number of cards bearing the name of W.J. Balfour, tailor, Pirie Street, Adelaide, in their possession. Two men have been arrested in connection with the above offences, and the arrest of Perry and Pearson is urgently desired.-(C.2481)
