Kelly's 1895 Directory of Hampshire and Isle of Wight

A very large and comprehensive directory with lists of private residents in each town and village as well as the Trades and Court Directories. The main towns have a house by house and street by street listing of every household.

This book was kindly loaned to The Archive CD Books Project by The Family Records Centre (the PRO) in London as part of our ongoing project to digitise ALL of their Directories. As you can see from the picture, this book is starting to suffer from almost constant handling. Visitors to the FRC will now be able to see the book on CD, thus saving it from further damage
