Includes historical and statistical descriptions, distance, parochial and population tables, descriptive accounts of Market and Fair towns, parishes, townships, chapelries, hamlets, tythings etc.

There is also a lovely map for each county and lots of beautiful vignetted illustrations of cathedrals and churches.
