A most delightful very early directory for the Isle of Man, that describes each of the places and their facilities, churches, institutions, etc. together with residents of each and their trades. There is an excellent original 1825 map too.

This book was purchased from a book dealer as a loose collection of unbound pages. We found that it was originally published in the same volume as a London Directory, and also with directories covering six major manufacturing towns in England - a strange combination! Therefore, as we had managed to obtain all of the pieces, we had it rebound again as a combined volume. And very beautiful it is too!
