Cat No.:   CA0222-B:

Written by John Hawkes and first published in 1924, this is a work of over 2000 pages which is bound as three volumes but organized into two subject areas. The whole of vol. 1 and good part of vol. 2 contains the story of Saskatchewan while the remainder of vol. 2 and the whole of vol. 3 is packed with the biographies of about 660 prominent Saskatchewans, more than 50 of whom also appear in photographic portraits.

These biographies (including that of the author) were submitted for publication by the subjects, or by their friends. To see a list of the biography subject's names please download the sampler from our Downloads page. Within that sampler you will find two separate alphabetical lists of the subjects names; one for volume 2, the other for volume 3.

For those whose interests are restricted to only the biographies section we have released this CD carrying only this section, although for only a little more you could own the CD containing the whole three volume work.

The whole of the book has been formatted for searches using Adobe Reader™, or similar appliction, and enhanced with our FastFind technology so that search results can be presented almost instantaneously.
